Notes: Vegetable garden planted on May 21. Planted: beans, head lettuce, cauliflower, 1 grape tomato plant, & 6 'better boy' tomato plants.
Purchased from Rivers edge greenhouse. Earlier in May basil and lemon verbena was also planted after being kept in indoor pots for a few weeks.
The basil did not do well at all and completely died. They were planted next to mint in garden on side of house. Also, attempted to start
flowers by seed in small pots. When transplanted at 1" tall they died in the larger pots. Use peat pots when germinating from seed indoors.
